TAD takes pupils from the age of 4 years old.

How does my child join?
You should contact us in the first instance by telephone
Tel: 01827 331609 or by visiting TAD at Wilnecote High School.
After an initial chat we will advise you of the class times and a start date for your child, provided that there is space available in your chosen class(es). If the class is full, you will be able to go onto our waiting list.

How much does it cost?
There is a registration fee of £5 per family, per year.

Class fees are as follows:

30mins = £2
45mins = £3
60mins = £4,
90mins = £5.
exam classes £3.50 per 30 mins

When you join, the first lesson will be FREE. This is to ensure that your child settles in and that you are happy with what we can offer.

Discounts are offered where more than one child in a family attends.

Do we have to have the TAD uniform?
Yes – All dancers must wear the TAD uniform to classes without exception. We allow new students to attend classes for a maximum of 4 weeks before we request them to purchase the Class uniform. This is to give students a chance to decide if TAD is the right place for them.

Can I watch my child’s classes?
Parents are only permitted to watch classes during the last week of term. You are able to wait within the school premises when your child’s lesson is in progress if you wish.

Do you keep track of my attendance?
Yes – We feel that a pupil’s attendance record displays a commitment to dance and the arts. We track pupils attendance at each class. Pupils who miss 3 WEEKS of classes without informing us are automatically dropped from the class. We have waiting lists for many of our classes and waiting list dancers will take that place. Therefore if you wish to keep your place in a class please let us know you are going to be away.

What happens when I arrive for my first lesson?
You should arrive approximately 10-15 minutes before the lesson is due to commence. There are male and female changing rooms on site. When you arrive you should introduce yourself to our Receptionist, who will advise you on where to change and may ask you to complete a registration form, (unless you have done so already). There is free parking at the school.

Many of our classes are assisted by the TAD Assistants. Their job is to help and support new dancers and make sure they know where to go and what to do. We don’t fuss around new dancers, although we try to help as much as possible as we know the first class can be intimidating for many children. We do however expect new dancers to make an effort to join in and become part of the class.
